The UCL Crisis Support Line offers an out of hours crisis support and suicide prevention option that is available to students when the university’s other support services are closed.
It is designed to help callers find immediate relief from emotional distress. It also explores coping strategies for their current crisis, safely manages any immediate threats to life or safety, offers referrals and opens pathways for longer-term solutions.
The UCL Crisis Support Line is a cost effective way to ensure that your students have 24 hour access to essential support, 365 days a year.
The service uses Lifeline’s proven Crisis Support model, but is identified to callers as an integrated part of the University’s day to day health and wellbeing support services.
